Hướng mục tiêu của Adsense tới các đoạn cho phép bạn đề xuất những đoạn của nội dung văn bản và HTML của bạn mà bạn muốn Adsense nhấn mạnh hoặc giảm nhẹ khi làm cho các quảng cáo phù hợp với nội dung của trang web của bạn. Bằng cách cung cấp cho Adsense những đề xuất của bạn, bạn có thể giúp Adsense trong việc cải thiện việc tìm mục tiêu quảng cáo của bạn. Bạn cũng có thể chỉ định những đoạn mà bạn muốn bỏ qua bằng cách thêm (weight=ignore) vào thẻ bắt đầu:

Để thực thi tính năng này một cách chính xác, bạn sẽ cần phải bao gồm một số lượng nội dung đáng kể trong các thẻ tìm mục tiêu theo đoạn.
